FAST ROUTE TO ACCA
This is a strategic partnership programme between ACCA, Ernst & Young (EY) and P.A. College.
This programme is intended for all candidates who aspire to pursuit a reputable carreer as Certified Accountants; it has a total duration of 4 years and prepares participants for an outstanding professional career in the Accounting/Auditing sector.
Principles of the FAST ROUTE TO ACCA
- Provides the opportunity to undergraduate students of BA (Honours) Business Administration (Accounting and Finance) of P.A. College to apply for a 12-month Paid Internship at EY after the completion of their seventh semester.
- Provides the opportunity for securing an ACCA sponsored employment contract with EY upon graduation, following successful completion of paid internship.
- The 12-month work experience will count towards their ACCA PER (Practical Experience Requirement).
- Students will have the opportunity to indicate their interest for the ‘Fast Route to ACCA’ Scheme between ACCA, EY and P.A. College, upon registration for the first year of their studies.
- Students will have the opportunity to register with ACCA Accelerate and be eligible for 1000EUR discount for their nine exemptions.
- Students will have the opportunity to take any of the last four ACCA exam papers remaining, during the second six-month period at EY, and provided they secure an ACCA contract with EY upon graduation, the financial expenses will be covered by EY.
Benefits of the FAST ROUTE TO ACCA
- Full-time paid internship: For a 12-month period at EY with work experience counting towards ACCA’s PER.
- Assistant Level 2 (with increased salary): For students successfully completing the 12-month internship and accepting EY’s employment offer for post graduation.
- Tuition and exam fees covered by EY: If students wish to take any of the last four ACCA exam papers during the second 6-month of their internship; on the basis of receiving and accepting an ACCA contract at EY upon graduation.
