Q: What are the entry requirements?
The following requirements are based on the Internal Regulations of the College. Students admitted to the Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BSc) honours degree level programmes must possess one of the following:
a) A sixth form Secondary School Leaving Certificate with an average of at least 80% and a working knowledge of English as may be demonstrated through an appropriate oral test, or
b) A sixth form Secondary School Leaving Certificate with an average of at least 75% plus a minimum of 4 GCSE / GCE passes including English Language and a numerate subject (Mathematics, Statistics or Accounting) of which one must be at “A” level. Only grades A, B, and C are acceptable, or
c) A minimum of five GCSE / GCE passes including English Language and a numerate subject (Mathematics, Statistics or Accounting) of which at least two must be at “A” level. Only grades A, B, and C are acceptable, or
d) Students possessing the P.A. College Certificate in Business and Information Technology or a P.A. College Diploma, having completed one of the diploma programmes offered by the College, are entitled to be admitted to any of the College’s degree level programmes, provided they achieve creditable performance as determined and assessed by the College Bodies.
e) Candidates possessing a sixth form Secondary School Leaving Certificate with an average of at least 60% will be required to attend a short course of English Language, Mathematics and Statistics, and Accounting for a period of four weeks before the official commencement of the academic period. The results of the formal examination attended by the student at the end of the course will determine whether the student is admitted or not to the programme.

Q: Does P.A. College offer any scholarships?
Scholarships are awarded to students on a yearly basis in accordance with the published College scholarship Policy. Consideration of candidates for the subsequent years includes the review of the student's performance and behaviour for the previous year. Students on scholarships are expected to participate in the community activities for the 25th of March and 28th of October as part of the College’s marching group. Students with partial or full scholarship benefits will have these benefits interrupted if they fail to participate in the marching activities of the College.
Students achieving, during a semester, an overall average mark of 85% or higher, are included in the honours list issued at the end of every term by the Director. Students should achieve an 85% mark
(a) in all the subjects of the particular period, or
(b) in the majority of the subjects, provided that:
- the overall average is at least 85%;
- no individual aggregate mark in any of the subjects is less than 80%.
Students included in the honours list for two consecutive semesters become candidates for honorary scholarship up to 50% of their fees for the next period they study at the College.
Q: What are your requirements for a student to be accepted on the 2nd or 3rd year of a BA/BSc degree?
Students who have completed a period of studies at another institution may transfer onto a programme of studies offered by P.A. College. An application should be submitted along with all the relevant information (transcripts, title of studies, description of courses – if available) in order to be assessed. The objective of the assessment is to determine how many modules can be transferred with comparability being a major criterion used in the assessment.

Q: What should I do in order to study abroad during my studies at the frame of the Erasmus Programme?
The selection criteria for student mobility are:
- The students who will be selected should be familiar with the English language and able to respond to any module’s needs using the English language as the basic tool.
- Good academic performance. The students should generally have achieved good grades especially during previous semesters.
- Preferable to choose students who have expressed interest in student’s issues and events, have generally shown good behaviour and attitude and have not broken discipline rules during previous semesters.
- Students should be familiar with important European issues.
Q: Do I have to pay for participating in the Erasmus Programme?
Erasmus students are granted and they do not have to pay fees to the host university for tuition, registration, examinations, access to laboratory and library facilities during the Erasmus studies.
Q: Can I be a part-time student?
Yes, you can study the Business Administration degree programme and Business Computing degree programme in 5 years as a part time student.
