P.A. Prospectus
You can find useful information about P.A. College, its academic programmes and academic system in our Prospectus 2010-2011.
During the academic year, the College and the Student Union organise several social events that entertain students and help them socialize as well as gain experiences.
- Clubs and Societies
Clubs and Societies are included in the activities of the Students’ Union, as a means of developing the personal interests and other non-academic skills of the students. The organisation and operation by the Union of special interests clubs (music, theatre, photography etc) is also another entertainment opportunity available to the Student Community. The College and the Academic Staff if requested provide their full support.
Every Fall Semester, the Students’ Union Executive Committee circulates among the students a list of possible clubs and societies. Each student has to state his/her interest and suggest another activity if that is of interest but not included in the list. Students joining the College during Spring Semester, will have the opportunity to participate in activities organized by clubs operating at the time.
The clubs are totally independent groups and are free to operate and function as often as their members like.
- Sports
P.A. College students participate to the championship of Cyprus University Sports Union, which gives the opportunity to students of all Universities and Colleges of Cyprus to compete to each other in several sports. P.A. students have organized football and basketball team.
- Table games
There is ample space adjacent to the cafeteria for students to socialise with their colleagues or to organise social events. In cooperation with the Student's Union a variety of table games were introduced for students to use during their free time.
- Radiomarathonios
Every year students of P.A. College participate to the annual fund-raising charity event called Radiomarathonios in aid of children with special needs by collecting donations in kiosks.
- Parades
On October 28th and March 25th the Greek Nation celebrates important national days. The College participates in the community activities with its students taking part in the parades through the main city streets.
